Over the past 5 years we have added 30,000 new non farm jobs annually. In order to keep up with population increases and companies expanding and/or moving here, there has been a ton of demolition and new construction both residential and commercial. The construction industry has added a total of 87,000 in the past 5 years.

Navy Broadway Complex -Demolished to Add: The Pacific Gateway

A presently underway project in downtown San Diego about 3 million square feet-eight city blocks South Of Broadway between Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive. (A 17-story office building to serve as the U.S. Navy headquarters, four office buildings, two hotels, a museum, retail promenade and 1.9-acre park)

Medical Building/Middle School- Demolished to Add: ‘The Park’

A completed condo project in Bankers Hill

Mission Beach Elementary School -Demolished to Add: 59 homes & 1/3 acre public park/courtyard

Presently underway East of Mission Boulevard between Kennebeck Court (to the north) and Santa Barbara Place (to the south).

Downtown San Diego Commercial and Apartment Buildings- Demolished to Add: Sempra Energy Building

Completed project built on the block with boundaries of Island, Seventh and Eighth avenues and J Street (between the Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park)

San Ysidro Port of Entry- Demolished/Renovated to Add: New & Improved San Ysidro Port of Entry

A completed project. The Port was processing an average of 50,000 northbound vehicles and 25,000 northbound pedestrians per day. The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) predicted an increase in vehicle traffic at San Ysidro of up to 70% by the year 2030.
